You need a philips screw driver and maybe a cpl or torx drivers.first remove the p/w switch, then the screws on or inside door handle where you pull the door from inside to close it.then pull door panel starting from lower corner going up when all clips removed lift the panel up to free the upper lip from windoe sill.

SOURCE: Instructions on how to remove a rear door panel

Firstly, if you don't know how...I doubt you can remove it anyway. Take it to your local car stereo installation shop and ask them NICELY to take it off - explain what the problem is (lemme guess the window/lock doesn't work).

SOURCE: how to replace rear bumper on 98 buick century

A rachet, Some small metric sockets 7mm or 8mm a few larger metric sockets 13mm,15mm, phillips head screwdriver and tork bit screwdrivers and a set of metric wrenches may help also and a can of WD-40. Should be some screws in the wheel wells and 4 bolts on each mount for each side of the bumper.

If dog ate the old ones, trim away old remaining material and gently pry the panel away from the door's edge. You should be able to see the shaft of the plastic retention clips which are just push-fit into door.

I just did a 97 Regal yesterday and yes you are correct...the strip must be removed to gain access...depending on model you may have to remove the cushioning panel (piece of upholstery panel) on the inside of trunk lid...follow this video URL as it explains the removal better in video form than written..basically remove the 7 10mm nuts holding panel on, lower trunk lid a little and wiggle panel off, twist socket and remove to gain bulb access..install is reverse procedure ...Regal, Century and LeSabre are all same idea/setup Tail Light Change 1997 2005 Buick Century 2004 Buick Century Custom 3 1L V6

Replace left side rear view mirror/2005 buick century

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

How do I get the door panel off?

remove the screw behind the door panel. where you place your hand to pull the door closed there is a small plastic cover in the bottom lift this out and there are two bolts under there, remove them. then you should use a trim removal tool to pry the plastic panel away from the door. you will have to go down both sides and across the bottom. the window lift cable end has probably broken which lets the window slide down. purchase a new window motor and regulator assembly. it simply bolts in

1990 buick centruty, driver door schematic (window regulator)

The first thing you need to do before buying any parts is to remove the door panel and find out exactly what is wrong, the motor is a gear reduction unit and even if the motor works it may still not drive the output gear. The door panel is held on by screws and hidden clips, pop off any panels or light fixtures on the door trim, under those you will find the hidden retainer screws, then gently pull door panel at edges to disengage feather style snaps.
