Dash codes Ford Mustang 2012 - Noted a shimmy upon accelerating as I started out this morning. Handling felt odd. Seemed smooth when I backed off but again when accelerating to 35mph. Yellow dash warning light flicked on then off before I could read it (right side under speedometer). No low tire air warning, visually okay, but did not have time to check pressures until tonight. Parked car, took another.

Sounds like warped rotors and worn pads or a worn front end or both. Most shops will check this for free I believe. If it were something like wheel bearings, or rear end you would likely notice this at lower speeds as well with out the brakes being applied. So the direct answer to your question is "Maybe, maybe not". Gee, that was helpful was'nt it?

sounds like an earth connection ,but where ,,,,back of dash,,,battery earth,,,ECU earth point ,,try putting a drop of oil on the earth points with a conventional oil can no sprays of crappy fish oil other than that you would have to wait for it to happen again in front of a mechinic to find it,.or trade it in for a nice europeon size car with a an engine under 1600cc .5litres is a bit obscene in this day and age and price of petrol

You probably didn't need new tires unless you had some miles on it. Remember that the spare tire also has a pressure monitor as well. It most likely is causing the low tire pressure light on the dash and only needs to be inflated back to what ever your other tires are set to. I had the same problem on my RX and took it back to the dealership where they told me since the spare is exposed to the same elements (it's under the back of the RX - you have to use the tire iron to let the spare down), it will inevidably lose air.

If it is just the bags leaking, replace them. www.strutmasters.com has a great deal on the complete rear system. The dealer charges $180.00 to put the bags on, just the bags, so hopefully that is all you will need.

Turn ignition to run position,go to fuse panel right hand of vehicle,push and hold reset button for 5 seconds,low pressure light will flash 3 times,start car it should turn off the low pressure light.
