Code p0012 refers to the camshaft position (CMP) intake left front bank 1-timting over retarded/ system performance---causes---valve timing, engine mechanical fault CMP actuator wiring. To have the valve timing out it has to be the cmp actuator as the valve timing will not alter unless there is a failure in the variable actuator on the end of the cam shaft. I suggest you consult a mazda specialist mechanic to explain the workings of the cam shaft

start with the cheapest fix first. Locate the vacuum leak first because it can cause other codes to pop up.

run fault codes and fix faulty items . The CPU runs a constant tune up as it drives but if sensors get out of parameters it is up to you to find and fix.

Mazda protege 5 2002 loses power while driving. Cannot accelerate over 25 mph.

The symptoms indicate a faulty MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor is not working as it should. Have the stored error codes read at a Mazda dealership or Autozone store. If the code comes back P0105 (or very close) this indicates faulty MAP sensor performance.

2004 mazda 6 stalls at red light and while driving at 50 to 60 km per hr?

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

As a first course of action I strongly suggest that you have the car scanned to know the fault code and the fix. But I do suspect that you have a faulty MAF (mass air flow) sensor and TPS (throttle position sensor). If one of these sensors are faulty, stalling can really occur. Have it replaced and you'll be good.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

My 1994 mazda 626 starts and ldles but stalls when driving

ENGINE STALL WHILE DRIVING COULD BE STOPPED UP FUEL FILTER OR FAULTY FUEL PUMP.IDLE SPEED TOO LOW.OR IGNITION COIL HAS A LOOSE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION.FAULTY IGNITION MODULE.BAD PLUGS AND WIRES. I WOULD DO A LITTLE TUNE UP.CHANGE FUEL FILTER AND AIR FILTER.IF SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES HAS OVER 30000 MILES ON THEM I WOULD CHANGE THEM.ALSO FUEL FILTER IF OVER 30000 MILES.CHANGE IT CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS. TO TROUBLE SHOOT CAR I WILL DO A LITTLE TUNE UP FIRST TO MAKE EVERYTHING TOP NOTCH ON THE ENGINE BEFORE I GO TO NEXT LEVEL.BUYING NEW PARTS DONT NEED.GET VECHICLE SCANNED WITH A SCANNER. THAT WILL ALSO PIN POINT PROBLEM QUICKLY.BUT DO THE LITTLE TUNE UP FIRST IF EVERYTHING PAST 30000 MILES MARK.SCAN VECHICLE FOR FAULTY IDLE SPEED CODES OR FAULTY IGNITION MODULE CODE THEY WILL COST MORE MONEY TO FIX.PARTS HIGH.

Mazda 6 2003 code p0174 system to lean in bank 2 what does this mean

It means that your MAF Sensor is dirty or faulty, or you may have a vacuum leak downstream of the MAF Sensor in one of the hoses.

In most cases, just cleaning the sensor will fix it. Otherwise you'll have to have all your hoses inspected and or replaced and also a Dirty Fuel filter can cause this code
