This code means there is low voltage in either the ECM or in the speed sensor. The speed sensor is the cheaper of the 2 but it could have a dirty connector and WD40 may clean it. Electrical cleaner is better.

replace the master cylinder. and if that still doesn't work, you will have to replace the slave cylinder.

I need a diagram of how the clutch on a volkswagen golf works

Depending whether you have a 5spd or a 6spd, all the inner workings for mechanical will be the same except for the clutch slave cylinder. The slave for a 5spd is located outside by the bell housing while the 6spd is one unit together with the throw out bearing, so replacing that you'll need to remove the trans to get to it.

Your car sounds like it needs aligned. Any tire shop can realign it. Also have them check to see if your tire are balanced.

2001 dodge ram 2500 diesel with 6spd manual trans. showing fault codes p1698 , p0237 & p0562. the truck will crank but not start. it has two new battery & map sensor.

p0562 is System voltage low
p0237 is Turbo/supercharger boost sensor A circuit low

cannot find a code p1698 but did find a p0698
p0698 is Accelerator pedal position sensor supply voltage to low
