Where is the fuel pump shutdown switch on a 2003 3500 5.7 hemi dodge truck

It's call the inertia switch. Yours doesn't seem to have one. I searched it and looked threw electrical diagrams. It's not there. What's your truck doing. No start/ no fuel pressure. Try starter fluid. If it starts and runs for a second or two. Replace the fuel pump.

Where is the inertia switch located on 1990 dodge caravan se.

Some Dodges don't have inertia switches.. They have a shutdown relay that senses when an engine has stopped and shuts off the pump. It is a relay somewhere by the passenger side strut tower in the engine compartment near the distribution box. You cannot reset it. It must be replaced if it goes bad.

Ok on the 1999 carravan is there a fuel shut off safety switch "like a ford located in the trunk"

No, Chrysler does not use an inertia fuel shutoff switch like ford. There is nothing resettable or anything like that with the fuel system. You can disable it by pulling the ASD relay or fuel pump relay/fuse. If you have a problem, you can check your relays and swap them around to see if that solves your issue.

Hope this helps!

CAN SPRAY GAS IN AIR INTAKE AND IT START FOR A MIN

Sounds like the inertia switch for the fuel pump has tripped. It only takes a small bump from someone bumping a parked car and the switch will shutdown the feul pump untill its reset.

I have a 05 F150 and the engine shutdown or stop running while driving down the road

Check the Fuel Inertia switch located on the inside passenger compartment firewall.
Press the reset and all should be well. The same thing happened to me in my Ranger. Good luck!

Fuel system shutdown

Check for an impact shutdown switch- this is to stop fuel pumping in case of an accident. Switch is probably in or around the access door on the left rear interior. I've seen this problem in a lot of vehicles, havent had the prroblem with my Sedona.\, so I don't know exact switch locatioin. If your vehicle is high milage, it could also be fuel pump failure. Check all fuses too, include the block under the hood on the left side.
