Question about Cars & Trucks
What could be causing my front driver side tire to be making a noise and slowing my truck down, even when going down a hill! The hub assembly for the wheel was replaced a few months ago. It almost feels like a brake pad is rubbing against the wheel when driving. It is decreasing my fuel mileage and slows the truck done noticeably.
Have you not looked over the brakes & even taken
things apart, looking for & eliminating brakes as an issue?
Checked drive axles,joints,etc.
Tires won't make a noise & brakes are not near the wheel,
to touch anything
New wheel hubs are ruined by mechanics obsessed with those
air driven impact guns, you need to use a torque wrench on the
axle nut of a new bearing
