You will need to pull the radio out and give me the serial number off of it. The serial number will start with the letter "M" and have 6 numbers after the "M". I'll be happy to run it through my decode software if you get me that serial number. You can comment/reply here with the number or feel free to email me at and give me the serial number. I'll be happy to run it for you.

SOURCE: Need a pic veiw of 2004 ford f350 6.0L diesel EGR

1st of all when Ford started out with putting "EGR's" on those diesel engines, they rushed it and are nothing less than a pain in the ***! i recommend having an EGR cleaning service performed by your local Ford dealer, i know they charge up the wazoo, but they're the best people to perform the service period.this is a VERY common problem with those engines and that service is "supposed" to be performed every 30K I believe. i dont recommend attempting to remove and service it youself, this WILL only make it worse.

SOURCE: reset radio code for '02 ford focus

You can get this code from the dealer but they will charge you between £20 to £35 for doing this.

I can confidently recommend this site that does these codes for £3.50. They specialise in Ford radios only. Cheap, quick and always reliable. I've used it myself on several occassions without a problem. Click Here.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using FixYa

SOURCE: need radio code for 1999

The serial number is on a label at the back of the radio. With this model you must remove the radio from the dash to find it.

If it is a European Ford the serial will look like M123456. You can try this site for the code once you have the serial as they are cheap and reliable for decoding Fords.

Otherwise your local dealer will get you this code for around £25.

See video below for instructions on removing the radio.

Thanks for using FixYa and please do leave a vote for the solution.

Insert the radio code by repeatedly pressing button 1 until the first
number of the code appears on the display.
Press button 2 until the second number of the code appears in the display.
Repeat the process on buttons 3 & 4 to complete the code.
When the code is entered correctly press button 5 and the radio should unlock.

Unless you have the card that was supplied with the vehicle that has the radio code, you will need to contact the Ford dealer, show proof of ownership of the vehicle and they will provide the code for you. All radios have a different code, and are linked to the vehicle VIN number or the serial number on the back of the radio.
