My renault scenic suv 2001 pulls to the left on the steering wheel when touch the brakes, when remove your foot off the break peddal it pulls straight again, what causes this?

Generally, this means the left side brake is engaging before the right front brake. So, check the right front brake pads and caliper to make sure they are free floating and not stuck with a little rust. Sometimes, backing up quickly and hitting the brakes kind of hard can break free the disk pads/caliper, but I would recommend taking a look at the brake pads and caliper to be sure they didn't get stuck in place.

How to fix1977 corvette stuck front caliper?

replace both calipers and bleed system. remove wheel, unbolt brake flex hose where it mounts to the caliper, clamping hose to keep from losing brake fluid, unbolt caliper from caliper mounting bracket. and remove caliper. re-install in reverse order bleeding front brakes making sure master cylinder doesn`t run out of brake fluid.

E 250 brakes get stuck? I recently had probelm with my front brakes since thye get stuck sometimes. I replaced teh calipers but the problem continue. How do i fixed the problem

did you grease the slide pins on caliper when putting them on ! sometimes the front brake hose collapses on inside, not letting fluid out of caliper to back it off from rotor. try replacing the brake caliper hoses first ! good-day !

My right front brake will not release. It has actually burnt my brake pads which i need to replace. What can I do to get the brake to release?

I would replace the rubber brake hoses going
to the calipers,as they may have collapsed inside

Replace the calipers as they may have rusted inside,
and the pistons do not release

Do both side of car the same

Bleed all 4 wheels

The back brake are staying on when diveing the car and there is a bad smell coming out of the brakes

does the car have disc brakes or standard drum brakes !! if its disc brakes in the back. usually a stuck brake caliper will cause this. if it is stuck bad and can not get cup loose from caliper, replace caliper is best fix. and the smell from the back is probably the brake pads burning up. if the caliper sticks, then the pads will still be in contact with brake rotor.

Successfully changed front brakes but when i went to change rear brakes the caliper seems to be stuck.what can i do?

your rear brake has most likely a drum in hat style brake.

The caliper is not stuck, you need a special tool to rotate the piston of the brake caliper and depress it down. It is connected to your parking brake, that is why this security measure was taken.

the special tool looks like this :

a ratchet fits in the center hole and depending on the style of piston you have you will need a specific side of this "cube" tool.
you may need to slide the pads out to see the piston.

I hope this helps, Goodluck!

Rear brakes

The caliper is probably stuck, I had to replace one of mine, drivers rear. The piston on the caliper screws back in, so you'll need a caliper press to seat the piston.
