Trying to figure out which hose goes to which AC condenser line on my 2003 ford f150 with a 4.2v6 switched out the condenser and didn't think to remember Which hose goes where the names jayj any help would b much appricated

Condensor has 2 lines,one coming from compressor ,one going to evaporator.

I ran over a tire on the highway and it tore the plastic guards underneath my02 escape. One covered the belts on the front passenger side underneath and the other one behind the driverside passenger, that one has a sensor that was pulled apart. does anyone know what that sensor is?

It is vacuum controlled from the front. Pull the panel off the by the rear evaporator to check for vacuum. It is on the left side in the rear.

No u don\'t have to as long as you don\'t mind sweating. Your buddy didn\'t have to cut any lines as they are bolted on in most cases. Hopefully the lines are cut where you can get a couple compression fitting and hook them back up if you want air conditioning.

Ac condenser replacement

The lines are held on by internal springs over a lip on the line you need this tool kit to release them. Most auto part stores like NAPA have this tool kit, it is less than $10.00 I think

How do i reconnect a ac vacuum line in a 2001 ford taurus

Follow the line from under the dash on the passenger side by removing any panel under the dash and kick panel area, the hose goes through there.

You didn't mention WHICH ENGINE your Explorer is equipped with. However, I have fixed a bunch of those that are equipped with the 4.0L engines. The vacuum line for the heater shutoff valve is a plastic line that goes up to the front part of the engine on the passenger side. The plastic line likes to break there. ( Actually, this is the line to the vacuum reservoir, but it is the main source for the entire climate control system.)You can "mend" the plastic line by using a short piece of rubber vacuum hose and push the broken ends inside of it.

No any codes will let you fail..Rangers are bad about the valve sticking..But first look on th driverside very back on the intake..Youll see a valve with two vacuum lines The one that goes on the bottom of the valve makes a 90 bend and is bad about breaking..If the lines are good then work the valve by hand and see if it will move

What was the "flaw" in the friends AC system that took two years to figure out? Maybe yours has the same "flaw" and it's taking 4 years to figure out?
Don't expect your AC to blow ice when the ambient temp. is 100 degrees and you are stuck in traffic. It's not going to happen...
If your compressor is weak and not compressing properly, efficency goes down. How many miles on your truck? They wear out, like any other moving part. I suggest you have a complete evacuation done with a deep vacuum, this will remove any air or moisture. Recharge to mfrs. capacity. Clean the outside of the condenser and radiator of all dirt, debris & bugs so air flows freely....Pressure sensors and temp. switches can be tested, if they are bad, replace them.

2002 ford taurus overheats. Just replaced radiator, waterpump, thermostat and heater core. what else can i do to repair. also, ford flushed the system.

About the only thing that you didn't list is the cooling fan. Are you sure that it's working properly? Drive the car until the engine starts to get hot. After awhile you should hear the cooling fan come on. After you have driven the car for a while, park it and open up the hood. If the upper radiator hose is almost too hot to touch, then check to see if the coolant fan is running. If it isn't, then turn the AC switch to "AC MAX". If the fan still doesn't come on, then a malfunction is indicated. Try to locate the fan control relay and swap it with another relay that has the same part number. Use a relay that will allow the engine to run. Allow the engine to reach operating temperature and see if the fan comes on after switching the AC switch to "AC MAX". If the fan now operates, then replace the relay. I hope this is helpful to you. I bought a sensor for the ac because it wont throw cold air, i dont seem to find were it goes. they told me it was next to the radiator but still cant find. please help

if it is near the radiator it must be a high side clutch cut out or highside fan switch/follow small ac line/hose out of ac compresor ,it should go to condenser the witch is probley in that line
