you need to know what DTC is stored in the ECM. take car to have the codes checked and repost.There are many reasons the epc"electronic power control" light will come on.Most of the time the check engine light will be on as well,but even if it is not there will be a DTC stored in the ECM.

First of all you need to access the Engine Control Module (ECM) using suitable diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car, in order to pull out all DTC's memored. DTC = Diagnostic Trouble Code. Then you will bu full informed about the root cause of the problem, and you will be able to repair & replace bad pieces and reset the ECM. The EPC yellow light is not a DTC code! EPC means Electronic Pedal Control.
First of all you need to access the Engine Control Module (ECM) using suitable diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car, in order to pull out all DTC's memored. Epc light came on car downshifted on its own, now it wont start. What could be the problem?

2000 volkswagon beetle epc sensor light on car will not start.... trying but will not turn over. is there any way to get it started...stranded

2002 volkswagen passat v6 4motion epc light came on when i turn car off then start again the Epc light goes off, then it cam on 20 later.

WHAT'S EPC MEANS ON THE DASHBOARD


EPC = Engine Power Control it's the engine control module yellow warning light.
You need access and erase the EPC memory by DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car, in order to reset the EPC, and turn off the EPC yellow light.

Epc light on new plugs /wires / coil light is still on what is the problem


New plugs and wire doesn't have anything to do with the EPC light. EPC relates to your electronic accelerator pedal. Have your car scanned for codes (DTC), then you wouldn't have to guess and replace functioning parts.
