Ac blowing fog like stuff

That is in fact fog, or water vapor inside the passenger compartment. The system could be freezing up, or it could have a lack of air flow, or too much water collecting inside the ac heater box.

89 s10 how much freon ac shop said 30 ounces and auto parts store said 54 and 8 of oil

The ac system should be between 30-40 psi. If your doing it yourself one small can should be enough. You can buy a kit that has the can with a hose the has a pressure gauge on it. That gauge will tell you if you have enough freon in your system. When you charge it make sure the ac is on full max before charging

On my dads silverado the fuel presser drops off toi think ten punds right after the fuel pump kicks off. when u start it with no fuel presser itll crank for about 10 secbefor starting. and it just started...

The regulator is in the plenum with the injectors. You have to remove the top of the plenum to get access to th regulator. This would account for the 02 codes also. As far as the cam, you have to make sure that the distibutor and rotor are in the right place.

I have a 2004 Nissan Xterra, the AC blows out cool air only when I accelerate. I already added more freon but the problem did not improve.

sounds as if you may have a leak somewhere and your losing freon(134). advance and Carquest have a sealing kit that can be added to your system to seal leaks in the system, it comes with the hose. do not OVERCHARGE your system, as you can rupture seals, and gaskets.

2001 Isuzu Rodeo LS after adding Freon A.C runs warm and cold

It sounds like by adding refrigerant to the system it may be over pressurizing. When this happens it will cycle on and off.

You will need to hook up a set of manifold gauges and monitor the high and low pressures to see what is happening.

How do i get the compressor to run to ad freon

If you're getting a AC error light, but you're sure the compressor works, you need to reset the compressor. Disconnect the battery for 20min (keep in mind, this will reset everything). After 20min, reconnect the battery. When you turn on the AC, the light shouild go out (AC error light). Be ready to add freon right away or the compressor will shut down again. Post back if you need instructions on adding refrigerant. Best of luck.

Engine seems to lack power w/ ac on . now engine will stall

Check the RPM if it drops when you have the AC on while the car is not moving. If it does drop you may want to check on the idle compensator. Its job is to bring increase RPM to make up for the added load. You may also want to check on the idle if it is below the normal speed. The added load may decrease the speed and send you to stall. If they all check out OK, you may want to check out the compressor as well if it gives the engine too much load. This can be caused by a faulty compressor or too much freon, or the bearing may be bad (with the bearing, you will get to hear a screeching or whinning sound).
