Where is it located? Does this cause the engine to overheat at all? I just had radiator replaced but car will start, doesn't appear to overheat, but fans don't appear to be turning on and after ten minutes or so, it quits and won't start up again for awhile.

crank sen. will not make car over heat, but will make engine light come on,and can make car stall,if check eng.light is on or came on,scan car for problem code, theres other parts that can do this too,but that is up to u!crank sen. location is on frt of eng. first from transmission beside oil pressure switch.
