How to bleed front brakes on 1997 mark 8 lincoln

You need a special tool to bleed the brakes because of the ABS system. Any shop that does brakes will have the tool (tire shops are good places to go cost wise), the special tool is very expensive so buying it is not an option, just have them bleed the brakes for you.

Clutch , presure plate and gearbox remove

You need the right equipment and knowledge to do this job there are a lot of cables wires etc that need to be removed before the gearbox can be loosened and removed.
There are also a lot of special tools required and the job is best done on a ramp or pit to gain access.
Trying to do this on the ground would be difficult and very dangerous also the engine needs to be suspended when the gearbox mounts are removed.
It is impossible to remove the clutch pressure plate, plate and hydraulic bearing on the C4 without removing the gearbox.
Take it to a garage/ clutch specialist.

Replace fuel pump

Best to do this in a well vented area because of the fire hazard, so that the gas fumes don't accumulate.
1) Disconnect battery negative cable.2) Jack up car and support on safety Jack stands3) Siphon gas out of tank4) Remove three rubber hoses on rear of tank. These are used for gas fill up; remove hose clamps and disconnect.5) Remove three hoses from front of tank; these hoses go from the fuel pump to the engine. You'll need special fuel line wrenches for this.6) Disconnect two connectors at the front of the tank.7) Remove two bolts that hold the exhaust pipe heat shield. You'll want to use penetrating oil on these; they will be corroded.8) Support tank with a floor jack. Remove the bolts which hold the tank in place. Pivot the tank on the exhaust, tilt and slide out.9) The gas hoses are taped to the tank. Remove the hoses. The fuel pump plate has about 12 screws around it. Remove the screws. Lift the plate out. The fuel pump is retained with one screw. Remove the screw. Filter is retained with a clip; remove it.10) Get your new fuel pump ($250), the rubber gasket for the fuel pump plate, and new filter ($5). Compare the pump with the old one; it must be the exact lenght. I had to go to two different auto parts stores before I got the right one.Installation is opposite of above. Good luck!Fuel pump is not too tough. First, get a Haynes or Chilton manual for reference (about $14).Best to do this outdoors, so that the gas fumes don't accumate. If I recall correctly:1) Disconnect battery2) Jack up car3) Siphon gas out of tank4) Remove three rubber hoses on rear of tank. These are used for gas fill up; remove hose clamps and disconnect.5) Remove three hoses from front of tank; these hoses go from the fuel pump to the engine. 1995 olds cutlass supreme/ removed the steering wheel to get to the signal switch, how do u remove the steering lock plate?

You could get the special tool for that but you'd probably have to buy it instead of borrowing or renting. The other thing to do is get a piece of broomstick about 14" long and using that, press down on the plate. It's spring loaded. Then you can work the C clip out with a pair of screwdrivers. Be careful easing off the plate once the clip is removed because the plate will spring up at you. You can do the same thing to put it back on. Hope this helps.

Where is the oil filter located in an olds intrigue 99

on a 3.5, on the bottom of the engine, looking up at the drain plug about 10" past the drain plug and slightly to the right there is a cover made of a plastic-like substance similar to Bakelite, it unscrews to gain access to the oil filter cartridge. You can buy a special filter adapter to use on a 3/8 drive rachet for removal of this plate. Here is a link for this tool, but if you look around you should be able to locate one for half the price:

Trying to pull the front brake calipers off an 88 Fox. No bolts, I assumed they were hex head. I first tried metric and it seemed to be between a 6 and an 8, on standard, it seems to be between 1/4 and...

Wrench is hex, metric that is found in regular set that cost about $7. I would be best to buy one that fits which is a socket wrench you can use with a ratchet. I had to buy mine the last time I did brakes, so it may not be in the incomplete cheap sets. Torque is 30 lbs.

Key is stuck in igniton in 1986 corvette how to take key cylinder out and get new one back in

Two special tools are needed: steering wheel puller and lock plate depresser. Both available at auto parts store for $20 or less. This is how I got to mine on a 1987 Corvette. It has a special steering wheel, but this should work for you too. Pull steering wheel. Remove plastic cover (no tools needed). Depress lock plate with special tool. With 2 screwdrivers, or 1 screwdriver and needle nose pliers, pop the little ring out of the channel towards you. This ring was holding the lock plate down. Loosen the lock plate tool and bring lock plate out. Philips screwdriver to take hazard light switch off. One phillips screw holds the turn lever to the switch. Set the small metal arm and screw aside. Three philips screws hold the turn indicator switch (plastic ring). Carefully tug the switch towards you. There should be just enough slack in the wiring that you don't need to unplug it below the steering column, but it's close. Leave the switch dangling in front of the steering column. You're almost there! There's another screw that holds the ignition switch in. Remove that screw and the ignition switch. Replace everything

Is there a chip behind the airbag of the steering wheel that can break and cause the horn not to honk? Does this require the airbag to be removed in order to fix?

there is no chip but a metal tang, first remove the positive battery cable and do not touch anything for 5 minutes next get the side plates off the steering wheel where the air bag bolts are, it will require a special wrench that looks like a tork head screw with a hole in it, it's a number 8 I believe, next remove screws and disconnect the air bag harness do not let it touch any electrical system with voltage 3.5 volts is all it takes to blow air bag. next look at the plate there is a plate that must come off and under the plate there will be a bent piece of copper that is the horn commutator that's where your problem will most li key be. You will have to buy it from a dealer.

Steering column

You need a special tool that does exactly that. It is pretty cheap to buy and easy to use. If you want to try it without the tool it will be almost impossible to do. The shaft will side down inside the column and you could end up damaging the horn plate.
