Well the alternator will not kill an engine unless the battery goes dead.
It could be a bad ground connection.

you might want to chk. the crank sensor and or cam sensor. sounds more to me that it could be fuel problem. chk. fuel pressure. pump could be on its way out. don't be fooled by hearing the pump running as they sound like they are pumping but there not, at least not enought pressure to keep it running. pressure should be around 50 p.s.i.

The most likely causes for your problem are fan relay is bad, fan motor is bad or a wiring fault between the two

Remove all three battery cables from battery and clean them good and replace both bolts. I have seen people replace starters only to find out it was the cables that were not making contact to starter. Yes, all of the lights were working and the battery checked good. This is a common problem!

Sometimes a rough idle like that is a fuel filter. As you've already done the plugs and wires the fuel filter would be my next bet.

I have a 1999 GMC Sonoma. The truck started dying out when driving. The dash lights would go crazy, then power dead. Replaced the alternator and no trouble for about 2 weeks. Now it's doing it again...

the voltage regulator is inside of the alternator so that would be a faulty alternator. check your positive battery connection at the battery. i'm sure you disconnected the negative when you replaced the alternator. these have a bad tendancy to rot off the connection at the positive side. this is not for sure what's wrong but it's a place to start. if not, then remove the alternator, return it to the place of purchase, and have them bench test it. it would not be the first part to fail right out of the box. good luck!

Rough idle no check engine light on starting to stall when making turns at low speed like in the drive thru radio lights flicker

did not specify rpm, but sounds likely to be a idle control valve, it adjust engine rpm when a demand or load is apply like turning your wheel, so the engine dont die. try cleaning it, if not enougth carbon build up found in it, replace valve.

I was driving down the road, car started acting like it wasnt getting any power so i pulled into a parking lot, put car in park, it idled rough for about a minute, then the battery light popped on and car...

sounds like your altenator is bad. it will bring down your battery. your serpintine belt could also be bad and slipping. my bet is the altenator went bad and your batteru is now bad also. replace both and you should be good to go

95 maxima rough idle

The injector could definitely trigger a misfire code, but you also mentioned that you had a mass airflow sensor code , that code code be responsible for te sluggish moment of the vehicle and rpm going up and down. However if you have a misfire onCyl#6 and the coil and the plug is good the ONLY other thing to cause a mis-fire would be the injector. To check the injector get a NOID light, you can get one at almost any auto-parts place. To use unplug injector plug from the bad injector and connect it to NOID light the light should have a steady PULSE/ligt flickering. If light flickers fine then injector is bad and will need to be replaced. If light doesn't flicker or flickers intermittently then you may have a bad wiring to that injector. Check if wiring is good, then you may have a bad cam sensor or sensor gear. Good Luck and contact if you need more help. Thanks for using FIX YA

sounds like the belt is loose. if it has a tensioner check and or replace it, if not tighten the belt. or the alternator tests ok but is actually not working at low rpm. or the battery is shorted. electricity is tricky
