Question about Cars & Trucks
Hi, I have fueling problems with my 2004/2005 Fuel pump, but Can find the inline pump to check it as the tank and engine ones are ok. Please let me know thanks
I always suspect that fuel pumps are not the real culprits in fuel problems. It is cheaper to have a fuel pressure test done to determine if - the fuel pump is faulty--or the pressure regulator is faulty --- or the canister sensor is faulty or a heap of other problems that are causing you to think fuel pump.

From 53 reg onwards, diesel pump is under R.H. rear wheel arch, hidden by the plastic wheel arch liner. Older versions have combined fuel pump/sender in the tank (under R.H part of rear seat).
You should be able to hear a faint purr from the pump when ignition is turned on but engine not yet running.
