Have a pressure test done on the fuel system to check pressure regulator-fuel pump and filter blockage. Have the fault codes read. Replace faulty items. Use only genuine items as non-genuine replacement are not always compatible with the OEM fitted CPU units. Check results for failed sensors and accelerator position sensor faults

Won't accelerate when i hit the gas

Does your car seem to be down in power compared to what you would consider normal? If yes, I would get the MAF checked, and probably cleaned. New one is like 400 bucks, but they are easy to clean, and then act just like new again. You just have to be careful and gentle, cause if you should happen to break one of the sensor wires, its done. Otherwise, it sounds like its in the master computer, but isn't too serious a thing. Financially wise. When you release the accelerator, does it react immediately, or do you have to depress a few times before it seems to respond? Good luck.

Acts like it's out of gas when it isn't

Sounds like you need to turn up the idle. There is a screw on the throttle and you have to turn it one way or the other. I bought an 82 convertible lebaron and the idle was all the way backed off. It took 4 full turns to get it right. Also I know my auto choke is broken so I have to rev it up when I start it or it wont start. Hope this helps

Van idles fine but when going the the road giving it gas it acts as if it isn't getting the proper gas ... it back fires....repleaced fuel filter and pump, crank and cam sensior

sounds like the timing is off. check the firing order to be sure your plug wires are on the correct positions on the coil packs. if that checks out, possibly a timing chain may need replaced. i hope this helps

Fuel delivery problems?

Okay this vehicle is 27 years old. It may well have out lived its usefulness. Have you thought about getting a newer vehicle that does not cause such problems?

Black smoke somes from too much gas so that would be right. It isn't acting. It's flooding. Might check your O2 sensor.
