Question about Chrysler Concorde
Installed a new aftermarket radio and an amp. Took me long enough but ok... I have Chrysler Concorde 99. If you have ever done this for a Concorde then I am sure you will feel my pain. After a successful install, the sound needed adjusting. This is a first time for me so adjusting the sound was a bit of a mystery so I used a couple of different cd's w/tracks that play w/the sound I like. I did this for about and 1 1/2 to 2 hrs; but with the car not on; like I turned the switch backward and left it on w/the amp for all the time. I got to start my car a little afterward and it turns over, fine. Getting ready to leave sometime after and "click" ( not turning over ) tried it 3 or 4 times and everything began flashing as the car clicked. Then the clicking stopped and no juice. I had a friend come over and we tried jumping the battery and yea, I got charge back and now its still not turning over but instead clicking repeatedly. We let it sit for a while w/the cables on, tried again and the clicks were there but it sounded like it halfway started... it tried to turn on but w/o the cables on, 3 or 4 attempts seems to drain the batter to the point where I can't even use the push button to open the trunk and no power locks. Had to lock each door manually. smh
Charge up the battery. It's run way down. Better yet, might be time for a new heavy duty battery, and have alternator amperage checked to make sure it's still at optimum.

first check all cables for corrosion on the battery. then go under the truck and check all cables that are on the starter. if they are clean then replace the starter because the solenoid is going bad.

sounds like it might be a bad connection on the starter try jumping the starter and see if it turns over

SOURCE: '91 LS400, trunk will not
If you hear the sound of the electric latch switch, then it's working but stuck somehow. Just put the key in the switch and turn it to the right and then pull up the trunk or ask someone to help you. it will open. I tried it today and it opened with me. It was stuck from inside by some kind of a broken plastic pieces. Just removed it and now it's working fine. good luck
