VW Jetta MKIV - G68 sensor replacement - how to lower transmission?

Use a floor jack or trolley jack under the transmission. Also use a block of wood if you have the jack on the transmission's lower pan. You will see that the whole engine and transaxle assembly will tilt down somewhat with the transmission mount removed. If it is not enough to replace the sensors, raise the jack back up and take off that dogbone, then lower the whole thing again until you can get to the sensors. Be careful when getting the mounts back on, that the engine and transaxle settle down perfectly into the mounts, so you have no vibration issues.

Cant remove top trans bolts

Most transmission shops have a transmission jack to support trans and they remove the rear cross member and trans mount lowering the trans down causes it to tilt giving you more room to access the upper bolts and with a 3 foot extension it is a lot easier to reach.

How do you change transmission mount on a 94 Camarillo?

Not sure ya ya asking here. Do you need to change the transmission bolts or the mount? If it is the mount it is kind of easy to change. You will need to put ya car on a set of ramps and block the rear tires. Then crawl under it and you will see the block just in frount of ya drive shaft. There should be two bolts holding it on. They will be 12mm bolts that take a 15 mm wrench. Take them out and set a jack with a block of wood under your trans and jack it up untill you have enuff room to get the block out. You may need to drop the cross member out in order to get room to change the block.

I have a 2002 gmc sonoma need to replace clutch how do i take transmission out.

Not too big of a deal. Disconnect battery.
Remove driveshaft from vehicle. Disconnect any electrical wiring from transmission. Remove starter. Remove gear shifter. Support transmission on a transmission jack, or a good sturdy floor jack. Remove rear transmission mount, and crossmember. Lower transmission slightly to help gain access to the engine-to-trans bolts. Unbolt slave cylinder and hang it out of the way. Remove engine-to-transmission bolts, and bouncer bars (if equipped) Slowly pull transmission away from engine. If it's stuck, double-check to make sure all the bolts are out, then try raising or lowering the trans a bit with the jack and/or pry in between with a pry bar to help break it loose. Remove transmission from vehicle. DON'T lose the dowel pins! They are needed to line up the engine to the trans properly. Remove clutch pressure plate from flywheel, and remove pressure plate, and clutch plate. If the rear main seal is leaking (behind flywheel) NOW is the time to change it (cheap $10 part) Installation is in reverse of removal. Good luck!!

The trans is seperated about 1/2 an inch and is stuck mananual trans 2003 s-10 2wd 4cyl

Push the trans into place and re thighten the transmission bolts. This may require loosening the rear trans mount. If it wont push into place by hand, dont force it with the bolts. The entire trans may need to be removed and have the clutch re-aligned. The good news, its two wheel drive so you have no transfer case to mess with.

How do you change the transmission fluid in a 2004 GMC Yukon Denali?

At the bottom of your transmission there is a large square/rectangular pan (depends which trans you have). Have a large drain pan to catch 5 to 9 liters/quarts of transmission fluid. Undo all of the retainer bolts and carefully lower the pan (this can get messy for the unexperienced) .
In some cases the rear transmission mount may need to be undone and the rear of the trans lifted to allow clearance for the pan to be slid past the crossmember.
Replace the trans filter too!

the trans will actually bolt up to the engine..but it will not work properly without the pressure switch plugged in to the harness... if u notice, there is a hole with no threads in the prelude trans..u couldnt even thread a 3rd gear pressure switch in the trans case..trust me ive seen it b4 at the dealer where i work.. i even went as far as installing the trans and when going back together, saw the difference when trying to plug the harness in...its not the same..i laugh about it now, but was very mad at myself at the time for assumeing the parts guy brought me the right part..the guy with the prelude was about to install my accord  trans in his prelude ...luckily i was able to stop him b4 he installed my trans in his prelude...i laugh about it now
