There should be a tab on either side of the glove box door that is what actually stops the door from opening any further. These can be squeezed inward to allow the glove box door to open fully (make sure to empty it out first or you will have a mess) and allow you to reach the area behind it.

You have broken vent door on your truck.
Remove the glovebox use flash light to check top of the heaterbox area (top of blower motor housing- toward windshiled area) You will see sponge covered vent.door or you just see outside light)
you can get complete repair kit with necessary electrical actuator about 65/75$ but thing is a job,, basically you have to remove almost whole dashboard to replace them correctly.
good luck.

Where is the blend door actuator located on 03 Hummer h2. Driver side blows cold, passenger side blows hot

They are not vac on the h2. there is 2 for temp control, one for recirc and one for blend. check the hummer forum as there is a great read for it there. the driver side actuator is really ez as it's under the glovebox, 20 min fix. the rest take removing the whole dash but it's not that tough.

2006 crown Victoria blows hot air with the air conditioner on the air condition lines are cold under the hood

sounds like the temperature blend door is either jammed or the actuator is shorted ou. when the temperasture control is moved you should hear the door moving...my guess is you are not hearing that..the actuator would be attached to the heater plenum behind dash/glovebox area...becareful to test the correct one as there will be a fresh air actuator and a mode door actuator as well...you can determine which one is which by changing the positions on heater head from hot/col, floor/defrost, recirculate and fresh air settings..each setting will move its designated actuatror..the one not moving would be you temp actuator....have fun!

There is a loud clicking noise coming from behind the glovebox in my 2004 chev cavalier. The clicking happens whether the fan is on or not. However, I can get the clicking to stop if I turn the...

The clicking noise is caused by one of the electric actuator motors that opens and closes the airflow doors withing the AC/heater ducting, more than likely the door is sticking and this causes the motor gear drive to slip as the tiny Nylon gears slip by each other and you hear a click. As far as the cost goes I haven't worked on this particular model yet but likely the dash must be removed to service the problem parts, about $800.00 would be a ball park estimate. Contact your local GM dealer for a repair estimate.

Hot air comes out the passenger side when air condirioning is on.

The control module or actuator is most likely the cause. You can manually set it for cold air until winter. Actuator is under the dash right by the blower.
