Sounds like no gas reaching the motor. Could be fuel filter or fuel pump. I would recommed you disconnect the fuel line and start car to see if fuel is coming up if it is then ur injectors r clogged or no good if nothing comes up u know is pump or filter I would change both.

Sounds like the choke is not setting properly when you step on the accelerator the first time. Usually a thorough cleaning of the linkage and other choke parts will fix this.

look at your igniton module. is there a colored spot of paint on it? if so you need to replace it. they over heat and the black paint turns a color. common problem if you plugs, cap, rotor , wires are old.
