Question about Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

Hi thank you for posting. When you say main fuse, do you know which one it would be? I have gone through each of the 2 fuses and I don't see any that are blow. If I understand correctly, its the fuse box under the hood that you are directing me to. Is that correct? If so, do you know which fuse it would be? Thx, Wil

I have a 2000 Vauxhall Astra Estate and the fuse for the radio has blown but I don't know which fuse it is. Does anyone know which it is?

is the cigarette lighter working if so it may be the one on the radio its self. can blow the radio fuse and not the main fuse. radio fuse is less think it is 5amp as main fuse can be 15-20amp fuse.

Wiper not working

A fuse for each wiper, they would charge you about
$800 more to design & buy that kind of car,and have
two wiper motors to fail & all that weight !!!

One fuse only.

Do you realize a fuse is just a piece of metal in the middle
of a length of wire

If a fuse blows you don't replace it
You find out why is failed

You have a wiper that came off it's drive post or linkage
issues

Next time your at Wal Mart go to the back left corner
by the oil, along the outer wall & look at fuses

I need to replace the 100 amp fuse for a '92 Mazda

Hi, The biggest fuse to be replaced is a 30amp. I don't know what you have that is that big. Could be a relay you have. Usually under the steering wheel and left. Good luck.

There is a failure in the circuit of the heated oxygen sensor-bank 1 sensor 2. I don't know how to check the fuse since I don't know where it is located.

If you're getting a code for a heated oxygen sensor circuit problem, replace the sensor. I don't think I've ever seen a fuse be the problem. Bank 1 is located at the back of the engine compartment, close to the firewall. Sensor 2 is the sensor after the catalytic converter.

A/C doesn't work and only blow air out of the top of the vent. at windshield. Could this be a fuse or relay problem? My mom has lost her owner's manual and I don't know what relay goes to...

the directional for defrost and dash panel may have gone bad, there is no fuse for this. under the dash on the main vent, you will see a little box/with an electrical plug in. it's called an acuator.when you turn the knob to defrost,or dash, the acuator turns the door on the main vent to let the air flow to either the defrost,or dash.your acuator is most likely your problem.there is only one plug in to it and only 2-3 screws that remove it frome the vent panel under the dash.thank you for choosing fixya.com!

Is there a fuse for the fuelinjector

All vehicles will have 1 or 2 fuses for injectors, and
that fuse may also be for other items as well

Check all your fuses, if you don't know which one it is

Fuses seldom fail & don't need to be replaced to fix
anything.
