Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2 cyls. # 1-3-5 on drivers side front to back and cyls. # 2-4-6 passenger side front to back.

There is no distributor cap on the 3.1L. The firing order is wrote on the coil packs and the front cylinder between the radiator and engine is #1 cylinder.

1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2 in clockwise rotation. Number one is the front cyl on the drivers side -all odd #'s from front to back 1 3 5 7. on the passenger side front starts with 2 and then 4 6 8 . Put the # 1 cyl at top dead center and see where on the cap the rotor is pointing. Start your #1 wire there and continue clockwise until you have all 8. Hope this helped!
