Question about Cars & Trucks
Dear Mech, I have a Laguna 2, built 2004. It will not start. If I insert the card and press the start button, there is a clicking sound and the voltage breaks down, like a short circuit ( the clock etc is reset to 00:00). I jump started the car, runs fine. I stopped the car with the start button, left the card in and could start the car with the start button. When I remove the card and re-insert it, the same problem. I presume there is a fault in the start-up check of the board computer. What should I do? Regards, Jo
The car needs to be scanned ,ur charging system too needs to be checked too.get another battery to be fixed.

your problem sounds like a weak batery. fit jump leads and try again. the starter has to be taken out from underneath. its located behind the engine block. the bolts are accesable from under the bonnet

I have same problem with 2002 laguna. Before warning lights and revving at 2000rpm starts car feels jumpy. Have to stop, take card out of slot and back again to start without fault. Happens a few miles drive later again. Anyone got a solution?
