A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: my Mitsubishi Chariot Grandis GDI, V6 Royal N86W

205 is the width in mm. 65 is the hight of the sidewall (.65x205=133.25mm)65 percent of the with. 15 is the diamater in inches of the rim (tire hole) for example if you keep the same rims 205 75 15 would be the same width but slightly taller.
215 65 15 is wider and taller as 65% of 215 is 139.75 millimeters. if you go to 16 or 17 inch rims u can get much bigger. the width of the tire must not rub on the insides of the fenders. the hight must not contact the top of fender taking in consideration the suspension. u can look for car clubs of that model and chat with the members.

SOURCE: Losing Radio sensitivity (the station)

Are you sure there is nothing wrong with the aerial? Possibly bent the radio connector so that the centre pin is now shorting to earth? Also Try a length of wire direct from the aerial socket to the outside of the car, just poking out of the car a couple of feet will do, make sure you put uninsulated wire into the socket. If there is no improvement then the fault is in the radio. Some radios have settings enabling them to only receive strong radio signals (sometimes called DX on/off or local on/off) It could be that yours is set to local on or DX off. If there is improvement with the direct wire the fault is in your aerial. Also take a test meter and check the resistance between the centre pin and the outer sheath. If it's zero or close to zero there is likely to be some type of short.

So I think the most likely problem is a broken or lose power connection. Many radios lose their presets if power is interrupted. This could be at the fuse box, or inside the radio or somewhere in between.
If you can get at the radio wiring harness and identify the continuous power input wire (the one that feeds the clock and presets is different from the switched line that powers the radio), you could try running a new wire from a different unswitched fuse or a new fused line directly from the battery into that line, perhaps using one of those clip-on wire tap things. If the problem goes away, you know the problem is not the radio, but somewhere between the battery and the radio. A loose connection inside the radio is harder to diagnose.

Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

How do you recalibrate the Mitsubishi multi communication system

To update maps you have to take it to the dealer and buy the map update CD. As far as re-calibrating you multi comm system, there are a few things, the easiest thing is to get into a parking lot and choose to calibrate the nav unit by pressing calibrate through the system menu and it will instruct you to drive in a circle (just mindful of objects that might be around your vehicle). If that doesn't do it then your gps anntenna might have come loose under the dash, this would require you to remove the head unit and re-attach it to the underside of your dash (very unlikely). there are a websites out there that have the downloads for firmware updates

Good luck. I hope this helps.

Just to clear things up, having the monitors ready has nothing do to with OBD Communications. Ready or not, it will communicate. The original issue here was a station with a bad scanner. she did the right thing trying somewhere else and following up to get her $ back.
