Question about 1995 Ford Taurus
I tried pressing the window lock switch to disable it, but I still can't control the windows in any of the other doors. I can do without the window lock, so is there something I can just disconnect - in the door panel, maybe?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

try taking apart and cleanig all contacts first. make sure you are getting power to switch. Sounds more switches are going bad. They usually last about 5 to 7 years before they start going out.

sounds like the rods are disconnected the clips hold the rods in place the latching mechanism holds the handle in place as well did you replace the speakers or did a shop? if a shop did then they caused this if you did then you may have caused this either way untill you reattach the rods none of it will work. you will have to manually open the door at the latch from inside teh door behind the panel.

sounds like bad regulator, pull your door panel apart and it is the part that goes onto the motor. long bow shaped thing with cable attached. pop out rivets, (I think 3 rivets) and on the upper side there are 2 nuts that have to be removed. then wiggle it around till you can get it out of the biggest hole in door. Good Luck.

actually you have thought of all but the prob. The track has jumped, making the motor not move the window. Sometimes you can gently slide the window up by hand and then the motor will catch the track and finish rolling the window up

Remove the front door pull cup screw
Remove the screw cap and the screw from the inside door handle and slide the handle rearward to disengage the hook from the inner sheet metal.
Remove the two-piece pushpins from the front door trim panel (23942).
NOTE: Use a commonly available spring loaded trim pad removing tool with a long thin nose to prevent damage to the door trim panel.
Release the seven front door trim panel bullet nose fasteners and push inboard, then upward to release the front door trim panel.
Remove the retainer from the master window regulator control switch panel.

Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
