SOURCE: where is the fuel filter located on my 86 4wd (22re)

You're going to laugh when you hear this...not! It's under the intake manifold, bolted to the side of the engine block. It's a real pain to do.

SOURCE: 1984 toyota pickup 22re fuel injection is not getting fuel to the cylinders

Most likely a fuel pump problem, locate the diagnostic check connector under the hood and turn the key on then put a jumper wire between the terminals FP and B+ if it start then the fuel pump is ok and the problem may be the EFI relay or efi fuse

A 22r engine uses a carburetor, and a 22rec is fuel injected. If you have the fuel injected model, the throttle position sensor could be faulty.

Low fuel pressure can cause this or a clogged filter, has the fuel pressure been checked? Has the fuel filter ever been changed?

FUEL NOT GETTING TO INJECTERS GOES BACK TO RETURN LINE TO TANK

Check to see if the 15 amp EFI fuse is blown.
This fuse controls the ECU and the injection.
