SOURCE: remove door panel

Disconnect your negative battery cable. Locate and remove the screws that hold your interior door handles in place (they may be hidden by snap in, or snap on clips). Remove the interior door handles, then disconnect the wire clips to the switches. Your panel is held in place by snap in clips; use a small pry bar to pull them from the door (try to get as close to, or directly under the clips to prevent them from tearing out of the door panel). Once the clips are pulled, pull the panel upward to remove it from the door.
Install in reverse.

SOURCE: how do I remove interior front door panel

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. then just remove the bolts for the mirror

SOURCE: How do I remove the passenger side interior rear

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Pull back the weather seal and you'll be able to get to everything.

SOURCE: need to remove inner rear passenger side door

On the inside trim, you can remove screws (these screws may be covered by filler pieces or may be visible, or they may require you pry a plastic piece off that covers the screws) that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you need to pull back the weather seal and then you can access the bolts securing the outer handle

Problem with door locks on 2000 Ford Windstar. You can hear the locks trying to work but only the driver's side door and passenger side sliding door is working.

You need to get a can of penetrating spray (WD-40) or similar, and spray inside the lock/latch mechanisms. Use the little red nozzle and make sure you get in behind it, down the side etc, to loosen up linkages. It may take a little work, and a couple of sprays, but keep working them manually until they free up, then start using power locks as well. Once they are working good, get a spray can of white lithium grease or similar, and give them a coat of that as well, sprayed all over the backside, and down the sides as well, to prevent/deter same happening again.

My windstar vans side door on the driver side is stuck in teh lock position. the door is not shut all the way but I can't unlock it. I've tried to pull the lock up but it won't budge. please help

Try to close the door fully by pushing it forward (may require several hands pushing at once) which may reset the lock and latch. If it closes, but still doesn't release the lock, the interior panel must be removed to access the lock and latch directly.

1996 ford probe passenger electric window no longer works.

you blew the fuse for your radio.you cannot put a hot wire to a ground that is why the fuse blew.you could have broken a wire connector for the door, windows etc.the headlight switch wire harness is probably melted this happens a lot on Ford products, the head light draw so much heat they melt the wire harness plug that goes on the back of the headlight switch.

1998 Ford Windstar fuse problem - dome light stays on etc

you most likely have a bad door ajar switch- the door panel has to be removed to access it, its on the door latch- you can unplug them this will take care of the batt drain prob.as for the locks it may be a switch problem- most ford vehicles will not let you lock the vehicle from the driver's door when it's open to prevent locking the keys in.
