SOURCE: 1999 Toyota Corolla interior door handle

There's two screws by the handle, pull those out and you'll see how it all connects on the inside. I was able to remove my broken one, and drill a hole into the plastic where it broke and reuse it - it's lasted over 4 years now.

SOURCE: Toyota V6 fuel pressure amount

The fuel pressure regulator is on the driver side fuel rail, close to the back of the engine. You need to pull the intake plenum off to access the pressure regulator.

The normal operating fuel pressure is 38 to 44 PSI

SOURCE: 1993 toyota corolla fuel pump fues are relay

to check the fuel pump on you car you need to put ignition in the on position and open the butterfly of the MAF sensor that is mounted on top of your air filter. Toyota's fuel filter won't come on unless there is air going in the engine. your problem may not be the pump, so you need to check the pump properly.

SOURCE: 1994 toyota corolla has a runs rough at idle and

I have a similar problem with one of my Toyota Corollas. It's a 95 model with the 1.8L engine (7A-FE, automatic). But unlike yours, it has plenty of power while running. Here's what it does. Occasionally the engine misses. Sometimes it will die. This is most likely to happen when you start the car and put it in reverse and start rolling without giving the engine time to adjust. I've been told by some customers that it will die sometimes when coming to a stop. But this has never happened when I drive it. I don't think it's a fuel issue because the car runs just fine when it's running.

Here's what I've tried so far:

  1. Replaced spark plugs and wires.
  2. Used gasoline additive fuel injector cleaner.
  3. Checked air filter.
  4. Checked vacuum hoses for leaks.
  5. Replaced PCV valve and hoses.
  6. Cleaned the air intake and throttle body with carburetor cleaner.
So far there is no change in the problem.

What I plan to do next:
  1. Check the throttle position sensor.
  2. Check the MAF sensor.
  3. Adjust the idle via the set screw.

After that I have no idea what to do next if the problem persists. The check engine light is not on so I don't think there are any error codes. Will let you know.

After adding gas to my Toyota Corolla 2002 LE the engine dies when I start the first time. I start again and it is cranking and after few sec it starts again...it's getting worse

It sounds like the fuel pump is going bad. If you had a fuel pressure tester you could check dead head pressure with the vehicle off and in the run position. A good operating pressure is about 41psi estimation. If you see the pressure drop right away and does not hold the pressure then the check ball or fuel pressure regulator is bad and you need to check those. Im giving proper diagonis procedures before buying somethimg you dont need. You can check a fuel pressure regulator with applying a vacuum to the valve and if the valve diaphragm holds pressure then it is good. Then all you have left is a bad checkball inside the fuel pump assembly. Unfortunately, if the ball valve is bad the whole fuelpump needs replaced. If you replace the assembly replace the filters too. A good tip to save the life of fuelpumps is to never allow the tank to run below a quarter tank because the fuel acts as a cooling system for the pump.

Please check the following:
- Scan the system and read the live data.
- Fuel pump pressure. (38 - 44 psi).
- Fuel filter for clogged.
- Regulating valve.
- Non Return Valve for clogged, located at the top back of fuel tank on the chassis.
- MAP sensor.

take fuel line loose at motor, see if ur getting fuel to engine, have air flow meter checked, throttle position sensor checked, check the fuel pressure regulator also could be bad and not keeping fuel at motor.

Cant accelarate down the road acts like its running out of gas

check for a clogged fuel filter, low fuel pump pressure, or a fuel pressure regulator that is stuck in idle flow setting--which is not enough pressure for cruise performance.
