If you have the console shift (gear selector in between the seats) there is a shift release button. Nest to the shifter there is a round cover, about dime size. Take a small flat screwdriver and carefully pop that out. Under that cover is a button, you push it and it should release the shifter.

check the transmission mount and try to do some engine related troubleshooting. if nothing works then i suggest , take it to a dealer

Make sure key is on and car has power press brake pedal if still wont move
pull horseshoe clip out of shifter clip is hard to see its on shifter handle in front towards dash. then pull handle up and out then look for broken plastic
