Question about Cars & Trucks
Changed batteries on my 2008 f250 diesel. Now I put key in ignition turn it nothing everything else electrical works other strange thing is steering wheel won't lock. Truck seems to thing it's in drive
It's probably a minor problem take it to the dealer it may be a computer malfunction the new cars got more technology than ever probably don't got actual key on it to start up. It could be a starter or spark plug or check the oil and fluids properly put check your manual to get the right fluids in it.

I have had this same problem after thorough checking it ended up being a bad steering box. after replacing the box it was fine

I have the same problem. I put some graphite down the key hole and pushed it around in there and it loosened it up a bit to the point I could turn the ignition. If you have a replacement key, start using that. It should help as well.Teeth on old key may be wearing down. Lastly, I keep a screwdriver in the car to whack against key when it's in the ignition if it's stuck. A few taps on the key will always unlock the ignition.
Or, go but a new ignition and key set....
