Question about Cars & Trucks
The electronics in the key aren't working so I have to use central locking manually by putting the key in the driver door. Usually this opens the boot as well, but another member of the family opened the boot directly with the key instead of unlocking the whole car. This has knocked the boot off the central locking system. We've done it before and there is some sort of combination of locking and unlocking the doors and the boot which gets it back onto the system, but I can't remember what it is - we did it by accident last time. It's not a crucial problem, but if anyone knows how to do it, please let me know... if I work it out in the meantime, I will post on here in case it helps anyone else in the future! Thanks, in advance, for your help.

Without diagnosing this problem myself, the possible causes are MANY!
Best solution is take the vehicle into a Hyundai Dealership and have it diagnosed/troubleshot by a qualified technician.

Have had this problem. Solve it by reading the owner's handbook, which gives clear instructions. Do not use the key in the tailgate door before reading the instructions.

water ingress in wiring loom below drivers seat, mainly loss of power to pin 23 middle multi plug blue and red wire middle multi plug.
remove drivers seat/frame trace wire back to corroded connection and repair. you may also have to remove passenger seat depending on where the break is. dealer quotes upto 2 hrs
