Don't know what code reader you used , but these are not valid codes . Your best bet , have it towed to a qualified repair shop .
These are not Ford trouble codes, there codes coming from your code reader are communication errors. ford code looks like P0171

Transmission shifts sometimes hard at third gear. when the key is switched off and restarted, the gears picks normal except the third gear which jerks. suddenly the gear will jerk especially if you...

Have your error code read (if the CEL is coming on, there should be one stored in the computer). Some auto parts stores will plug in a reader and pull the code for free. Your transmission could be going bad or it could be as simple as a gear pressure/speed sensor wearing out (which is a relatively inexpensive fix), but the error code should help you figure out what's going on.

Have a 1997 ford explorer with 4.0 sohc that died at stop and would not start. cranked but no start. error code was p0340. replaced crank sensor and started but died again in less than 2 minutes. still...

p0340 states: Cam Position Sensor A circuit (Bank 1, or single sensor)

p1318 : unknown code cannot find online or in my code reader definitions.

remember the code does not mean the part is bad just where to look for bad wires, connectors and to test for bad parts.

My 1996 honda accord check engine light came on and it started to idle like the spark plugs have went bad. can you give me an idea of what the problem might be?

Not yet. The check engine light coming on is letting you know that the self diagnostic function of the engine computer has detected a problem and set a trouble code. That code can be read by a code reader. Most major auto parts stores have these code readers and will read your code for free. The code number can tell you/us where to start looking for the problem.

2002 mazda millenia....check engine light is on....what could be the problem?

When this light comes on, it can be anything! If you want to check this out yourself, you can buy a code reader and connect it to the car computer. There are a bunch of codes stored in the computer and when you check it, a letter followed by numbers will tell what the error code is. There could be one error code or several. I bought a cheap code reader from Harbor Freight on sale. Have to make sure you get the right reader for your vehicle. You can take you car to a car dealership and they will charge something like $80.00 just to hook up the diagnostic machine to your car. Labor and parts are extra.

Does the check engine light come on? If not, and the fuses are good, the computer maybe bad.

Check engine light

This could be anything from a bad sensor, to a bad ECM.

The cars computer turns that light on when it detects something isn't right. Your car is always running a diagnostics on itself to ensure nothing is wrong. You can either take the car to a shop and they'll put it on a computer to diagnose what the engine code is. OR you can run over to you local Auto store and pick up a "Code Reader" for about 25 Dollars. It comes with a book that will tell you what the code means, the code reader (which you plug into the car) and instructions (to show you how to plug it into the car)

Other than that, I can't really help until you find out which error code the car is giving you.
