How do I bypass a O 2 sensor without a catalytic converter in a ford mustang

the cat converter and o2 sensor are vital parts in keeping the engine tuned
with both missing the ECM will not tune the engine so there will be other factors that cannot do their prescribed jobs
plus the fact you will probably use more petrol
how do you bypass it
just leave it hang in the air

My suzuki 1996 model x90 4x2 sick shift: 1. problem cannot go above 55 m.p.h. and is starts starving for fuel and missing and occasionally backfires! 2. it also dies when i come to a full stop or let it...

1.6L 16v SOHC engine. common, EFI (spark and fuel)

other than finally doing the 60k tune up.... this issues can be
diagnosed, easy.
1: compresson above 170PSI, tested at WOT, wide open throttle.
times 4
if all 4 are low (90 is horrid) the timing belt slipped.
the 60k's were skipped, for sure. and that is what you get .
or the crank key (front pulley) has sheared.
the last guy that did the 60k, forget to read the TSB and failed
to set that crank bolt 17mm head, to 94 ft/lbs as suzuki demands.

2: if compresion is good. and you tuned it up, then you can.
A: makes sure you did the 50k, mile EGR clean.
If the EGR sticks open , the engine stalls. or looses power.
at low RPM..
B: back fire is not normal for a tuned motor.
usually backfire is a clear sigh of gross timing issues.
(timing belt slipping wrecks cam timing and spark TOGETHER)

C: if fueling is and issue . we work that last.

my guess/ car never gets 60k tuneups. ever.
you lost this page?

and is covered in total here.

I have a misfire code also, truck misses when cold, generally when it warms up the miss goes away and it runs great. Within the last 2 days once it warms up all of a sudden it will lose power. To the point...

Generally a tune-up is needed when a vehcle is misfiring. Usually the tune-up is the least expensive way to go. It could be the fuel injection or relay, but tune-up is the cheapest way to start.

Cyl. 3 miss fire code po303

my money would be on the coil cover, especially if it had been a long time since the last tune up. it is certainly worth trying, as this is part of a routine tune up anyways. good luck!

Van is hard to start. have to turn ignition like about three or four times . have allready tuned up and changed filters

The basics is it takes 3 things to start a engine. 1) Spark 2) Fuel 3)Compression. One of these is missing or partially missing. You may have all new tune up stuff on it, but you have other things to be concerned with. Fuel Pressure is important and could be losing fuel pressure when sitting. It's not that cut and dry.

Vehicle sputtering and missing likes its going to die at stops

It could really be any of those things. Those are normal wear and tear items that would be changed in a tune-up, when's the last time you had one?

1997 nissan sentra keeps dying

Check distributor and fuel, when car dies check for what is missing when it won't start back up. It can be only gas or spark and trust me one is missing. Good Luck
