SOURCE: broken sun visor

On the plastic cover take a small screw driver and pry one of the open ends, in other words if you look at the cover carefully it is shaped like a U, pry on the top right side of the U to un-snap then rotate or twist the cover to remove. Then you can get to the screws that hold it into place/

SOURCE: sun visor replacement

You unscrew the two bolts and gently take the visor off the mount. There will be a wire attached that has a plastic male/female connection that can be pulled apart. Do this gently. The wire is the power connection for the vanity light located within the visor.

SOURCE: how to remove sun visor on a chevrolet Trailbazer

Hello. here is the instructions for removing the sunshade.

  • Insert a small tool into the bezel access hole (1).
  • Important: Midway through the rotation cycle, the tool will move further into the access hole.
  • Push upward on the tool while rotating the sunshade parallel to the windshield. The sunshade pivot arm bezel should appear to be recessed into the bezel.

SOURCE: Sun visor on 2005 Nissan Murano won't stay up/falls down

go to a dealership with a screwdriver and your broken sun visor in hand. take out a nissan murano with an interior that matches yours for a test drive and perform a switch on the sun visors. install your broken visor in place of the one that works, and take the one that works out of the car that your test driving.

Problem solved, its free, and you didn't have to get creative to fix the problem. Plus, they can't blame you for a broken visor considering that they fail in these cars all the time. You're welcome!!!

SOURCE: 2007 Optima sun visor is loose.

My 2007 Optima Driver's Side visor also had the same problem. I removed it with the screws under the plate at the base of the visor. Upon further inspection, the plastic inside the "hinge" had shattered inside the plastic sleeve. I am currently attempting some at-home super-glue-and-epoxy repair. If this works, I've saved myself a couple hundred bucks in repairs.

Need to kmow, how to place back sun visor, toyota venza 2009??

Sun visor has a hole in it. Just slide it over the mounting rod carefully aligning it straight to the far end of the rod to the left. It would probably be easier if you removed the whole mounting rod assembly to align it.

Rather than try to explain it here, I'll give you a link where you can download the Owner's manual. See page 86 for information about the HomeLink system. That includes the procedure you need.
