Question about 2003 GMC Sierra 1500
Could be a # of things. First is the battery up to doing the job? If you have a voltage meter test to make sure you have close to 12V across the battery then turn on headlights voltage should not drop more than about 1 volt. If so battery most likely is OK. Dirty battery cables will be the next thing to look for. Are the terminals clean & corrosion free at the battery? If you have found know problem so far your starter may need to be replaced. Do you have the ability to use jumper cables & jumper it from another battery?
