To me that sounds like you may have a ball joint going out. This is a component of both your steering system and your suspension system. It helps to hold your wheel to your vehicle. This is a serious safety concern. Get it to a mechanic quickly!

Why is there wobble and a humming noise at certain speeds?

Usually a humming noise ( will get louder the faster you go ) is associated with a worn/bad wheel bearing. If the bearing is worn bad enough, it can also produce a wobble. Have the bearings checked on the side/wheel the problem is coming from

Knocking when braking!

Sure does cause that knocking noise. It's a ball joint. Have your mechanic replace it as it wont pass a safety and emission...

Does a 2002 taurus have wheel barrings

Possibilities are:
  1. Bad wheel bearing
  2. Bad tie rod
  3. Bad ball joint
  4. Bad strut
  5. Loose lug nuts
Most cases it's a wheel bearing but since you're getting a loud noise too, it could very well be a bad ball joint or tie rod end.

Sounds like a knocking noise (against the drivers side wheel well) and slight grinding (which comes and goes) when the truck is in motion. I checked under the truck nothing is hanging.

I don't know what kind of vehicle this is but be sure and check the lug nuts. Then you could jack that wheel up off the ground about an inch or so and get a hold on the tire and wheel and see if it will shake back and forth or up and down and if it is loose, there will probably have a bearing out.

When applying brakes - I get a wheel wobble, o.k. when driving normally no wheel wobble. had realignment done about 4 months ago. also when driving on rough or uneven road surface seems like my shock...

it could be the shocks but due to wheel wobble i would say its more to do with worn bushings on the suspension arms etc.... best way to check is to jack up each front corner of the car at a time and shake the wheel see if it has movement side to side or front to rear if so i would reccomend getting it looked at or replacing the bushings :) hoep this helps

My van seems to be wobbly and kinds a knocking noise in he front end.

You need to have that checked very soon. Could be a wheel bearing or cv joint going out and could be dangerous. I lean toward the wheel bearing.

Hurt front end

not trying to be rude but do be sure the wheel is tight. a build up of corrosion on the wheel or hub could cause the wheel not to set n lug studs correctly. that would cause a knock noise and will shake the wheel
