Question about 2006 Chrysler Pacifica
I tried to start my 06 pacifica and it turned over but made a chicka chicka sound. I tried a few more times and believe that now I have killed the battery because it won't turn over at all now. my check engine light is flashing. any ideas??
For now you must try to charge the old battery see the diagram attached.
2) Run the scanner/computer for easy diagnostic and fix it. You have some problem with PCM or BCM+sensor, ignition coil, distributor etc see the diagram attached.
God bless you

2 possible problem come to mind:

SOURCE: When trying to start the
MAKE BATTERY CABLES AND BATTERY POST CLEAN FREE FROM CORROSSION. CHECK BATTERY VOLTAGE SHOULD BE 12.6 VOLTS. IF BATTERY WEAK INSIDE LIGHTS AND RADIO WILL COME ON.BUT IF BATTERY VOLTS BELOW 10 VOLTS THATS NOT ENOUGH POWER TO CONTROL STARTER SOLENOID HOLD IN COIL OR PULL IN COIL CAUSING CLICKING NOISE. IF BATTERY VOLTS IS 12.6 VOLTS STARTER SOLENOID OR STARTER MORE LIKELY FAULTY.BEFORE MAKING THE REPAIR TURN OFF RADIO FIRST BEFORE DISCONNECTING NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE TO KEEP FROM LOCKING OUT RADIO PLAYING CODE.YOU CAN REMOVE STARTER TAKE TO ANY AUTO PARTS STORES THEY WILL CHECK ALTERNATOR FOR FREE.

A good read. That car is only 6 years old... I would say bye bye to Chrysler forever.

SOURCE: my 2004 Pacifica won't start
Connect a jumper cable from negative on the battery and the other end to the engine block. If it starts look for a broken ground wire under air cleaner box from engine to motor mount or directly in the center front of the engine. The ground in front has a wire attached to it.
