Question about Cars & Trucks
Wont move when in gear shifts 1 thru 3 manual but doesnt move wont move in auto either engine oil ok not to low or over full
Check transmission fluid level. If it's ok need to have trans fluid pressure checked. Need schematic, but should be a port on the side of trans for this. If to in depth then take it to a repair shop. Could just have a clogged trans filter.

I had the same problem I changed the transmission fluid & put a new filter in the trans, this fixed it good until I put my foot down to overtake the trans kicked down to 2nd gear & the hold light started flashing again & the trans started slipping again. I stressed over it for a day or 2 & then I took it out for a drive & thrashed it, Low & behold it came right. When you change fluid its impossible to get all the old fluid out because the torque converter holds a liter or two under pressure, so when I put my foot down some of the gunk blew through & blocked the pump it looses pressure & cant change gear. You need to get it flushed by a transmission specialist

Sounds like the modulator or a vacuum line..
The modulator tells the trani when to shift and is controled by vacuum presure..
Check for damaged or disconnected vacuum lines stemming from the trani..
Or maybe the modulator linkage is stuck..
Changing the fluid is a good idea too..

The tranny fluid on most cars and trucks is 30,000 miles ,as far as the engine oil if you use a good oil brand like Honda motor oil or even like Motorcraft they are a synthectic blend 5w20 and you can go 5,000 miles between oil changes. Now if your useing regular motor oil change it every 3,000 miles.Hope that helps
