2001 mustang bullit ABS lght on

Are there any drive ability issues when braking? If the ABS activates when you are slowing down at a stop light that is usually caused by a defective wheel sensor, and in some cases the ABS unit itself. Unfortunately the easiest way to get to the bottom of the ABS system is to have it connected to an ABS code scanner. Autozone does this for free on the ECM, but not ABS. I don't know if that has changed or not. Most shops charge $80 just to plug in the scan tool and give a diagnosis unless you have it repaired there as well.

My ABS light and track light are both on and wont turn off!! what happen and how do i fix it?

Hello. There are two ways to turn these warning lights off. The recommended way is to have the car's computer scanned. Many auto parts stores, AAMCO shops and some garages will scan for free. When they scan they can clear the memory which will turn off the warning lights.

The other method is to briefly disconnect the battery, say for 30 minutes, which will clear the computer of this temporary data. J.

1996 Ford Mustang GT ABS Lamp on constantly

The ABS light is for panic stops. You have to have it put on a scan dino in order to find the right sensor that is not working or you could look at the sensor on the bcak side of the disc or drums and see if you see cracks in it. It might not be plugged in all the way since you had the axle replaced. Check all connection on back side of each brake. You would have to take it in to a dealer to find the sensor thats not working right they can pin point it.

My lights stay on all the time abs, brake and track control

It sounds like you have a faulty ABCM or anti-lock braking control mechanism. 2003 was a common year for failure of this. Usually your car will drive just fine, however, your ABS and traction control might not work as well as there supposed too in a collision.

Abs light on. 2000 mustang gt

One or both rear wheels speed sensors are malfunctioning even they dont show noticeable physical damage. Get a scanner that can display rear wheels speed values and drive the car to see which one is not working correctly.

Abs light

The ABS light coming on all of a sudden seems to be cuz of a faulty ABS wheel sensor. You will need to take it to your mechanic and have him "pull the codes" from the ABS computer. That is the only way to know the problem... Sometimes it is also caused by low battery voltage so you might wanna swap that out to check...
