Hi I have a town and country 2010, i change my battery and my radio ask me for a code my serial is T00AM1100E2209, i live in Dominican Republic and the car not coming with a card with this number Thanks...

Hello. I know codes are a pain. The best thing to do is go to these Car Radio Code sites: radiocode.ivgsoft. com or radio-code.com. They are easy to go in and use. You do need your cars vin number and the radios serial number to. They wil tell you right away or e-mail you back quickly and they will let you know what is wrong and what is going on and how to cancel the code or how to turn off the code. Good Luck.

How to identify the vin # and OM parts for 1973 Shasta trailer, and/or an owners manual

most trailer numbers are near the hitch ball end of the front..a plate welded in the drawbar which should still have numbers inscribed on it..some trailers have a tag somewhere near the power input on the unit..the acess door where the cords, powerbox and trailer hardware are stored..some have a small plate mounted on the front of the passengers side of the body..did you get a title with it??most states require a title..

Wiring diagram

Hook up the trailer to the vehicle. Under the rear bumper you will find a thick wire harness that runs from left to right or vica versa. Choose a location to strip open the harness to gain access to the different color wires. Open the trailer coupling. remove all wires and split them apart. Now start with say the right indicator light on the vehicle. Earth should be established via the grounding method of the trailer hook steel on steel of the vehicle. Connect any wire of the trailer to the now flashing right indicator light. Go through them all till the right indicator bulb flashes on the trailer. A good approach to determine which wire is active, is to make a test light from an old bulb connector some have already two wires connected ie; pos neg. neg the tester onto any part of the vehicle chassis and the pos to the now live wire. Go through them all till all wires meet up. Now go on and extend the harness by means of soldering properly and insulating that wire from the main harness to the female fitting of the trailer connector. At each connection on the fitting fit on properly the different wires and do the same to the male connector from the trailer so that all lines up inside the two connectors. Good luck

My 94 land rover discovery has a trailer light on even when off and keys out it is a 5speed how can I fix it

Many trailer sockets have a live wire to operate the electric fridge in the trailer. It is possible that you have a short from this live point to the light that is on, or else a faulty connection. Get a wiring diagram from the net - search for "trailer plug pinout" or something like that, you will get a very extensive list of standard wiring diagrams for the trailer plug.

Where is the vin# on my zieman boat trailer

Most boat trailers use a sticker that falls off for the info you are looking for, try looking on the inside (between rails) of the trailer its sometimes there not on the outside. Many states DO NOT REQUIRE TRAILER TITLES. check with your deputy registrar or license bureau. if you have an old registration cert. you can try those numbers, or the original mso or paperwork if not titled. as NOT ALL STATES REQUIRE TITLES check with your local license people. as said before most states allow home made titles to be issued. since most boat trailers reach the dealer un-assembled that is why they use the sticker system, as the tounge or rails could be used on any one of the trailers the dealer orderd. If you sell the trailer I would definately go thru the paper work as a form of protection for yourself to prove legal ownership

04 toyota corrolla I need to wire a harness for a utility trailer, not sure how many wires are needed and do I need 1 or 2 lights on each side of trailer. not sure on these newer cars with more than 4...

First and foremost, installing the wiring harness is not the easiest task, but not the most difficult. Typically you will use a 4 pole harness. One wire goes to tail light on, second wire goes to brake light, then one to left signal and right signal. You will need a test light of some sort in order to determine the hot or live wire for each bulb. Once you confirm the wire you can simply splice the wire off the harness into the factory harness. One thing I will mention at this point is using a typical four pin instead of a adapter that are a it more expensive can cause more draw on your cars electrical system. Although I have never had any problems on my cars. I have heard situations in which wires have become cooked.

As far as trailer lights go it may depend on the state. Here in IL, you can get away with running 1 light on each side of the trailer granted all functions work-brake, running lights and turn signals.

Good luck

"Check trailer brake system"?????

you really need to be specific. Does it do this with or without a trailer on the back??? if so, then you need to check and verify that all the lights and brakes are working on the trailer. If it does this without a trailer on the back, then its a wiring problem on the truck.

Saab 900 radio code

Pull the radio using the tools or bend 2 pieces of coathanger to fit the holes - push the coathanger about 2-3" in and press outwards, pull the radio out enough to read the serial number.

Have the serial number and VIN number handy and call a Saab dealer. A kind one will give you the 4-digit code over the phone. The worst dealer will charge a minimum $ to have you come in and prove ownership. My dealer, in Scottsdale AZ, did it free for me, and if the serial matches the VIN in theri database, you should be ok. This is a case where a polite, respectful request will get you service and a favor sometimes. You may also call around to other Saab dealers and find one that is helpful. Remember them when you need real service. And maybe, if they charge, go have an oil change done and ask if they would give you the code while you wait. They love that, and often will give the care a once-over and tell you what they see that needs service. Cheap diagnostics. Good Luck!
