The battery may have a dead cell. You should be able to pop the acid fill caps on the battery and see inside. If the cells are white, then most likely the battery is no good. If this doesn't work, try checking for blown fuses and this will show first sign of a short in the wiring.

you need a volt meter. unhook the positive side of the battery. set the meter to dc amps. touch one leed to the battery and the other to the positive cable making a circuit.if theres more than 1 amp or so being pulled,that will drain it in time. sart pulling fuses one by one untill the draw goes away.then you will know what circuit it is on. after that ,start chasin wires to find the short.
