Question about Cars & Trucks
A couple of times I was driving, engine lost power&shut off.I shifted into neutral and it started right back up.A few days later, leaving a friend`s home,3 times it blew out the 20 amp fuse for guages as soon as i`d turn on ignition switch.A 25 amp got me home.Next day.on high way, fuse blue, and isnt pumping fuel.
Fuel Safety Shut Off Switch --- is only on Ford Products
& only opens in a serious accident,so diagnose the circuit
that blows the fuse
Don't keep replacing it,that's silly
Diagnose the fuel system if you know how ,have the proper
knowledge & test equipment & possibly wiring diagrams,
otherwise take to a repair shop & explain

Fuel pump relay sound bad. Under the hood in the fuse box is the location of the relay. Look under the cover for the diagram to locate it faster. Hope this helps. Please keep me posted. Good luck

that fuse feeds power to fuel pump relay circuit that feeds pump could be defective pump,or damaged circuit wires that shorts out! and not a good idea to put higher fuse in circuit could cause more damage to circuit! but i know when your stuck, u do what it takes,so inspect circuit related to fuse,

im not 100% sure if this vehicle has onebut some cars have a neutral safety switch. My jeep had one go bad. If you shut it off, it wouldnt start back up, you had to wait about 45 minutes. Sometime it would start it placed in neutral.
