Question about Cars & Trucks
Have a Mazda 6 2009 D while driving there was a loud squeaking/banging noise & black smoke came out the back & it just stopped, the RAC man said it was diesel in the oil my father change the oil & the filter & but now needs to change the battery over as the battery would not start any idea or help as to what damage this could have caused?
It probably wasn't diesel in the oil unless someone put it there. Could be a piston.

I'm assuming that that smoke was more previlant while going uphill because that's when the turbo would be really spolling up to max psi. I would guess that if you really got on the gas hard and got the turbo going even on a flat surface, that you would notice the smoke too. The loss of power and the white/grey smoke are tell tale signs that your turbo is bad or starting to fail. Good luck!

SOURCE: Mazda 6 oil change
If DPF means Diesel Particulate Filter, no you don't need to change this cartridge. Somewhere near 120000Km you have to refill the additive tank with Eolys additive.

SOURCE: mazda 6 diesel wont start
Have you run the car without fuel? There must not be any air in the fuel line... Blead the fuel line of air and try to start it. There should be bleader screws under the hood....
