Question about 2003 Mini Cooper
Driver side footwell with standing water of 1/2" after a rain. Appears to be coming from underneath dash left hand, water goes from there along side the fuse panel. Suggested it might be the IKM box but can't find any reference to an IKM box in the 2003 mini.

this work on the suspension may needed to remove the "sub frame mounting bolts" the miny has 4 rubber mounts that hold the engine and gear box in and the hole sub frame can be droped by taking out 8 bolts,, if one of the rear mounting bolts were took out and not reseald when it was put back in there is your leak!

SOURCE: Water coming in and laying
The floor pan of the mini has plugs, to allow water to be drained I suspect, over the years these can corrode and compromise their seal allow water to enter the cabin. lift up your carpets and have a look, should be obvious as daylight can be seen in some cases, a simple quick cure is to apply some silicone, to the area.
