SOURCE: 1991 Celica GTS Cruise Control Problem

You may have a faulty brake lamp switch at the brake pedal. If the brake lights come on (via a bad switch), the cruise will cut off.

SOURCE: 2003 expedition cruise control inoperative

I had this same Problem and it was a simple vaccuum hose leak connected to the cruise control module. Try replacing this small hose.

SOURCE: 2003 Denali Yukon, no Brake lights, no Cruise Control, fuse is OK

Check your brake light switch at the pedal. This controls the lights and disengages the cruise when stopping. I'd look there before I go anywhere else. There may just be a wire loose. Could be a simple fix.

Good Luck and hope this helps.

Usually in the fuse box kick plate next to driver's lower footwell or passenger side, depending on which country you're in.

The cruise control doesn't work but the light cruise is on in the panel and the actuator have been change. The fuse is also looking good but i'm wondering if any relay or other switch could be in cause?...

Cruise controls use Vacuum from the inlet manifold to operate the throttle linkage for cruising. If the hose that supplies the vacuum is not tight on the connections at either end, due to getting hard and/or splitting, the unit will not have enough vacuum to operate the linkage. Check the hose that supplies the cruise control, as well as all the hoses used for pollution control in the engine bay for poor connections. They should be tight, not hard or split and not be able to be removed easily.

Cruise control in my 2003 mr2 spyder suddenly went out

check the fuse for the cruise control from the driver side located on the left side of the dashborad. Make sure the fuse is not blown out.
If it bad, change it out but make sure it is the same rated fuse.

Good luck

1986 Celica GT fuse box

There is most likely no more fuses. There MAY be a fusible link (an inline fuse) in the wiring for the cruise control.

I REPLACE CRUISE CONTROL SERVO ALSO HAD TOYOTA

you can reset it with an OBD scanner from a parts store or simply disconnect your battery for about 30 minutes and then reconnect. this will allow the computer to loose its memory and start over. Similar to shutting down a PC and rebooting.

check to make sure you don't have a vacuum leak to the cruise system. sounds like it is loosing vacuum and taking a while to build up.
