Question about Cars & Trucks
Have you tried replacing the thermostat? If you are sure that it is the thermostat even if you have recently replaced it, I have seen defective thermostats when the lower level (cheapest) thermostat is used. Always replace your thermostat with a higher quality thermostat. It is well worth the extra few dollars not to have to do it again. Also you should flush (with cooling system flush) and fill your cooling system with the proper mixture of coolant to make sure there are no contaminants that could clog the thermostat and lead to a premature failure.
