It is located under a black cover in the induction system.Look at the cooling fan under the hood. Then look almost in the center of the engine there will be a cover with 2 screws in the top of the cover.Remove the 2 screw and then the cover. Then you should see it.

Can brain box make oxygen sensor malfunction?

if you mean the ecu. then no, O2 sensor has a heater built into the sensor this preheats the sensor to read the O2 measurements if the heater fails it will read a fault and the ecu will give out a code. it will also give out the same code or different code if the sensor has failed. this is no repairable unit, sometimes it can be the connection from the sensor to main wiring, the plug seal can go and let water into the socket this would make the sensor appear faild to the ecu. if this is the case replace the seal and clean the connections.

ECU incl ignition key for Alfa Romeo 147 1 9 JTD 115 hp 5 doors 2004 Bosch...

find a used or referbished unit with same numbers on the outer casing as your damaged ECU
the replacement has to be from the same year and engine type as your car and same number of pins and plug ins

auto electrician might have the equipment and time to referb it

when fitting a used ECU
you may need to re sync the system with a diagnostic tool

Ford falco ba2003 ecu repair

Most ECU units are non repairable and the fast fix is another one from the wreckers. Run fault codes first as the ecu units are fairly robust and sometimes all it takes is to use a scanner to reprogram the CPU inside

Your car has both a crank and cam position sensor. First start with your crankshaft position sensor. It is located by the harmonic balancer on the front of the motor.

The ESP light on my AudiA3 stays on

The ESP system means the Electronic Stability Program. If the ESP lights on the dashboard permanently the ESP system is faulty.
You should access the ESP Electronic Control Unit (ECU) memory for pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes), using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car. Then you will be full informed about bad pieces (e.g.: brake pedal switch, front right wheel abs sensor interrupted, ...). After bad pieces replacement you will be able to erase all faults memored by ESP ECU, in other words reset the ESP system and turn off the warning lamp on dashboard.

Check & replace if necessary the brake pedal switch placed above pedals on the support.

If the problem still occurs you should access the ABS & ESP ECU (Electronic Control Unit) using diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car, in order to pull out all DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) memored.
Then you will be able to replace bad piece(s) and fix the problem by erasing all DTC stocked inside ABS & ESP ECU, and reset it.
