Question about 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan American Value Package Passenger Minivan 3.6L V6 FFV 6-speed Automatic
When you try to lock or unlock the passenger side sliding door with the remote or the buttons on the front door panels it does not work. the only way to lock or unlock it is to use the manual lock on the inside of the passenger sliding door. It has been suggested this could be the accuator?? Any ideas? Is this a reasonable "do it yourself fix"?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: Sliding door lock
If you check the doorlock actuator it is more than likely bad. On my caravan I had to replace actuators on both sliders. Cannot get correct actuators at autoparts stores. Either go to a salvage yard or to the dealer to get them.
