How do i replace the coil packs on 94 Mercury Grand Marquis i got a bad miss and a back fire when climbing hills

First check your coils, in a dark area start your vehicle and with a spray bottle with water, spray over coils, if you see arcing, you have bad coils, which could be causing your miss fires. Coil packs are held by nuts or bolts, remove these and then pry upward with fingers while twisting in a clockwise and counter clockwise motion. Remove spark plugs and check them. Might consider in performing a tune up.

It's 1995 model there is no power in the motor but timing is right, what could it be?

I assume you mean Car Engine? Timing is only one function of the engine, and power I assume relates to the speed or motion of the car when fuel is applied accordingly. If the Plugs are fouled your firing or combustion are compromised. Plug wires may need replacement also. Test compression.

My Pajero back fires and hold back in motion

Backfire problems sometimes involves mufflers and exhaust pipes, ignition timing and carburetor.

* in carburetor, might some residue, rust and other particles is stacked up that's,might get overflowed and this is one reason why it backs fire. need to overhaul the entire carburetor and it should be clean as well

* Ignition timing or distributor is connected to high-tension wire that may cause lose thread. this may fix when the engine is starting while adjusting distributor to a certain timing.

* muffler and exhausted pipe, it the some pipe got to much carbon and rust, this will stop the pressure coming from the engine and it takes back fire. To solve this, simply spray water on muffler using a hose and then start accelerating gas until carbon and rust comes out. (this is what i've done in my car,and it works)

* intake manifold is also a reason why it back fire because if the fuel engage too much and also said to be lack of flow, fixing this problem may do correcting or balancing the mixture of fuel percentage.

What would cause my engine to hesitate when in motion?

A bad plug, If the car is sitting at idle it doesn't require a lot to keep the plugs firing, so when you drive the spark increases more frequent and one of the plugs may not be able to fire on every stroke at the best it should causing a mis-fire. If you change these, use a OEM type because some of these platinum and higher rated plugs will make a 4 or 6 cylinder runs worse. I've seen this happen quiet often.

Broken clutch pedal

The shaft attached to the pedal connects to a device that changes the forward motion of the pedal to a backward motion to the clutch. These shafts are attached with cotter pins and you might be lucky and simply broke one. Check this site for how a clutch works: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/clutch.htm

Reattaching the shafts with new cotter pins isn't hard. But if one is broken, you have to get a replacement. Try a junk yard, it's cheaper.

Got a tune up about a month ago (just spark plugs and air filter) Now my check engine light is on and my car stops when i'm at a light or even when i dont give it enough gas i could be in motion and it...

first make sure your engine is running smooth when you can keep it running, if not, possibly the plug wires are put back on wrong, check firing order. if that is correct I would check to make sure that you have the right spark plugs, with the proper gap
