Use the vacuum cleaner and get INFRARED LAMP, and use by 24 hours, for to let it dry very well, keep the door open, disconnect the battery of your car.

Water leaking from passenger side firewall.i have a big puddle in the backseat of the car. is there anything i can try before the dash needs to be pulled out, i dont really have the money at the mo for...

there is a drain from the a/c housing that runs the water condensation to the outside of the vehicle, it should be on the lower passenger side of the firewall under the hood. sometimes these will clog with dirt and debris causing the condensed water from the evaporator core to build up and drain on the passenger floorboard. if it is coolant you are seeing then u have to replace the heater core.
